Lenny Ackerman was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He now divides his time between Palm Beach, Florida, Danforth, Maine, and East Hampton, New York, where he has practiced law for nearly 50 years. He is a weekly columnist for The Mountain Messenger newspaper and has been published in various other newspaper and magazines including the Palm Beach Post and Maine Homes, Boats & Harbors. He is also the author of “Here Back East,” “Fishing the Morning” and “Fishing to Home Waters.”
